- 达科塔·约翰逊 and 艾斯·库珀 previously appeared in 龙虎少年队 (2012).
- Grace states only five women over 40 have had number one singles, and only one who is African American: at the time of filming these were 希雅 (aged 40), 麦当娜 (42), Bette Midler (43), 雪儿 (52), and 蒂娜·特纳 (44). However, 艾瑞莎·弗兰克林 (45) also hit number one, albeit on a duet with 乔治·迈克尔, meaning technically two African American singers had achieved the feat. By the time the film was released 玛丽亚·凯莉 (49) had also added to this number. In addition, at the time of filming 希雅 was the most recent artist to achieve a number one aged over 40. She has worked extensively with both 格莱格·科尔斯汀, who wrote and produced songs for the soundtrack of this movie, and Diplo, who has a small role in the film as producer R Dubs.
- The mother of Tracee Ellis Ross is superstar singer/icon 黛安娜·罗斯. The mother of 达科塔·约翰逊 is Oscar nominee/Golden Globe Winning actress 梅兰尼·格里菲斯. Melanie plays Tess in this film, a nod for her celebrated Tess McGill in 上班女郎 (1988).
