- 伊德里斯·艾尔巴 had originally been considered to take over as Alex Cross from 摩根·弗里曼. Idris had previously starred in 泰勒·派瑞's film 爸爸的女儿们 (2007).
- There are references in the novel "Cross" to both 摩根·弗里曼 and 泰勒·派瑞. The reference to Freeman may be homage to his role as Alex Cross in 桃色追捕令 (1997) and Along Came a Spider (2001).
- 马修·福克斯 went through a strict diet and workout routine to gain muscle and lose a high amount of body fat.
