- This was the first time the "Late Night" theme song had lyrics ("Here I come").
- According to 阿米尔, he was fired by 洛恩·迈克尔斯 after making disparaging comments about 蒂娜·菲 on Watch What Happens: Live (2009). Thompson felt that Fey, a fellow Philadelphian, ignored The Roots during her appearances. Fallon begged Michaels to rehire him. Thompson and Fey later reconciled on the show by eating a "hoagie of friendship" together.
- At the top of each show while The Roots are performing the theme song 'Here I Come', '?uestlove' and Tariq Trotter usually shout out the episode number during the break in the song. If the number is an area code, ?uestlove will also yell out the name of the city/region.
