Revealing mistakes: When Viktor pushes Michael through the wall, as he lands in the water you can see several large pieces of the broken wall floating on the water behind him, showing them to be polystyrene.

Revealing mistakes: Just after Viktor is resurrected we see a white car make a right turn. The street sign is in mirror writing showing that the image has been flipped.

Continuity: In the security office that looks over Viktor's tomb, the Quickcam jumps from the top of one of the monitors to the desk between shots.

Continuity: The men behind Kahn at the door to Viktor's chamber are all different men when they get into the chamber.

Continuity: During Viktor and Michael's fight Viktor throws Michael, revealing Michael's (pink) feet, although Michael is now another color and he was wearing boots earlier anyway.

Revealing mistakes: During the fight scene between Michael (when he is now a mixed breed) and Viktor, you see Michael claw at Viktor's back. If you watch carefully, a few of Michael's very plastic looking claws fall off.

Factual errors: Silver nitrate is a clear substance and looks nothing like the quicksilvery fluid seen in the movie, even in high concentrations (though it may turn black if stored for long periods).

Continuity: Selene throws four throwing-stars at the Lycan "Raze" in the sewers, in the sequence where they are removed one shot is mirrored so that the last star jumps from left to right shoulder and then back again for the final ripout.

Revealing mistakes: Michael's kneepads are visible when he falls out of the interrogation room window and lands on his hands and knees on the pavement.

Continuity: During the assault on the Lycan base, as Den Kahn and his men are cautiously clearing out a tunnel, Kahn is clearly holding his rifle with his right hand on the pistol grip and left hand on the fore-grip. When we see him peer down a dark tunnel, all close-ups of the rifle and tunnel show his hands being reversed with left hand on the pistol grip and right hand on the fore-grip.

Revealing mistakes: When Selene dives out of the subway car rear window and on to the train tracks during the opening subway shootout scene, the ground clearly flexes as she lands, indicating that a mat was used.

Revealing mistakes: Just before the werewolf with stars in him (thrown at him by Selene) gets them removed, he walks in holding someone's body over his shoulder. He is supposed to be naked because of the transformation, but you can see a small pair of black underwear.

Continuity: 146 The Beretta 93 series is chambered for the 9mm Parabellum and a double-stack magazine can hold 21 cartridges. In the hallway scene, Selene nearly empties both magazines. Yet, without obviously reloading or reasonable time to do so, Selene empties the equivalent of another magazine from each gun into the floor.

Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Michael's address shown on the computer is misspelled. It is Laktos Jozsef instead Lakatos Jozsef.

Revealing mistakes: When Kahn rolls the grenade down a shaft full of Lycans, the grenade bounces out of the puddle at the bottom. As it does this the explosion begins from within the puddle, underneath the still airborne grenade.

Continuity: When Viktor pulls the pendant from his daughter, the cord which it hung on breaks nearly completely off leaving only about 1 or 2 inches on either side. When Lucian snatches it off the dusty floor before leaping through the window, the entire cord is intact, and still attached to the pendant.

Continuity: Towards the end, Selene frees Michael from the examination table by shooting off the chains attached to the handcuffs that bind him to the table. In the next few shots, when Michael is yanking off the ropes that had been around his chest, the handcuffs themselves have disappeared from his wrists, including the chains.

Continuity: When Lucian's scientist is mixing Michael's blood in the beaker to find out if it is pure, the amount of fluid in the beaker changes between shots.

Crew or equipment visible: After Erika helps Selene to escape the mansion, Kraven stands alone in a room brooding, looking out one of the windows into the night rain over the mansion grounds. There is a reflection of a man's face in the window - of one of the filming crew - possibly the director, and certainly not the reflection of Shane Brolly (Kraven).

Revealing mistakes: There is a shot where Selene picks up a camera that was on the floor. She is seen running with it in hand when she is running inside the subway. But then it is never seen again as she flips out through the rear window. We never see the camera again until back at the Mansion when she is reviewing the pictures taken. Where could anyone possibly conceal a camera of that size?

Revealing mistakes: When Selene is fighting with the guards/cops, one of them shoots her in the stomach. In the love scene shortly after, her stomach is bare.

Continuity: During the fight scene with Michael and Viktor, when Michael is now a mixed breed, Michael's nails alternate from black to a fake-looking yellow.
