Revealing mistakes: When Mitch is thrown through the window by one of the college jocks you can clearly see the window has already been broken.

Crew or equipment visible: When Mitch is thrown into a dumpster you can see him running up and jumping off a ramp in the reflection of the dumpster.

Continuity: When Mitch and Sam are getting ready to destroy the building at 99 Franklin Street the same green car drives behind them twice in the same direction.

Continuity: Before Sam and Mitch enter the house to put fish in it Sam can be seen with a big, black contraption on his back. When they enter the house, it is no where to be seen.

Continuity: When Pops is having a heart attack, it is nighttime. When the ambulance arrives at the hospital, it is clearly day time.

Continuity: When Mitch parks his car in front of the movie line, he parks about a yard away from the parking meter. In the next shot, it is in front of the parking meter and when Sam opens the car door, it slams against the meter.

Revealing mistakes: After Mitch breaks the telephone apart with a bat, it rings, and he answers. When he holds the receiver to his ear, the part you are actually able to hear out of, is facing away from him.

Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Mitch and Sam leave jail and Mitch addresses his cell mates, his lips can clearly be seen to say "anal rape," but this is overdubbed with the words "the other thing."

Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Mitch and Kathy are walking towards her mother's apartment building the day before they mess it up, and she confesses to liking him, he says into his recorder "Note to self: Mitch was right!" It should be "Sam was right."
